Episcopal HS Football returns to the airwaves for the second straight year! Once again,  Episcopal HS Football games are broadcasted on the radio and the Internet.  All 10 regular season games and playoff games are carried on WXOK, 1460AM, Baton Rouge and on the Internet at SportsGumbo.net.  Broadcasts  start 30 minutes prior to kickoff.  The first broadcast-- Friday, September 2, 6:30 pm, with the Knights travelling to Albany HS.  Episcopal High School Football broadcasts are a Jon Fine Sports Production.  WXOK Radio is a Cumulus Broadcasting station.

Episcopal HS is the 4th Baton Rouge area high school to have its football games professionally broadcast on the radio/Internet, joining Catholic HS, Central HS and Denham Springs HS.  These latter 3 schools are class 5A schools.  Episcopal HS competes at the 2A level.

The broadcast team for EHS football is Chris Ledoux on play-by-play, with Blake Smith providing color commentary.  Chris and Blake return for their second season calling Knights football games.  Ledoux is a former high school football player and coach at Opelousas High School.  He called play-by-play for Walker HS Internet broadcasts from 2006-2008.  Smith, a local engineer, was a standout football player at Episcopal HS.  He played college football and is a graduate of Louisiana Tech.
